I want a good engineering college with low fees. My cutoff is 148 and category is BC.

    148 is a decent cut off . Since you're asking for engineering colleges your cut off marks should be Maths+ Physics+ Chemistry. If you want to get a good engineering college with low fees then you should apply for TNEA Counselling. I think you'll get 3rd round counselling. During your choice filling process, choose government colleges first and followed by government aided colleges . I suggest you these colleges because the fees range will be typically low when compared to private and deemed colleges. 

    Things you should do : 

    1. Choose atleast 35 to 40 colleges with course while choice filling .
