There are many private colleges in UPTU, which provides lateral entry in B.Tech. Some of them are JSS, Ajay Kumar Garg, ABES Engineering College, Galgotias University, IMS-Ghaziabad, RKGIT, BBD-Lucknow, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial-Lucknow.
