Hi Abhiji,
For admission in a bachelor's degree, you need to complete 10+2 examination with science subject such as physics, maths and chemistry. For top colleges like IITs, NITs , IITs It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for this course is 4 years.

Most of the popular engineering colleges have their entrance tests in the form of Joint Entrance Exams. It can of the state government or AIEEE or IITJEE.
