Nevertheless, the eligibility criteria on the basis of which admission is done in most places of India are as follows : To get admission in MCA course, the student must be a graduate with 50% marks. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved castes. It is mandatory for the student to have Mathematics as a subject in 12th or graduation. BCA / B.Sc. / B.A. / B.Com or any other stream like these will work in graduation but BCA graduate may be given more importance at the time of admission in some colleges. Hope it helps.
