CCNA and CCNP Cisco certified network associates and professional are good courses you can take up. Recently Cisco also ahve introduced voip related courses, which has good future in netwroking field.

Global certifications like MCSE, CCNA etc will do good and act as top ups to your basic degree. It makes you more demanding for a networking career.
