I want some reviews about the dual degree BCA-MCA course from Lovely Professional University.

The BCA+MCA degree has seen more successful entrepreneur alumni rather than the ones who are placed in placement drives. Though the course curriculum can be directly compared to one of the esteemed educational institutions, but the question paper may seem easy. But it is not. LPU exams are way easy to pass but extremely difficult to get distinction as the marking schemes become much precise about your grades and overall performance when you head one step above in the CGPA. Being an BCA aspirant, isolate yourself to the very specific part of computer application than engineers who are supposed to know everything about every course, at least the basic. The dual degree (BCA-MCA) is designed for learners with an intent to construct strong basic conceptions and then hone their understanding in a specific domain and implementation through industry internship. Further, LPU is a university which have industrial tie-ups with Oracle and SAP. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a wildcard entry to the industry. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement.

It is a good option for the students who are determined to achieve higher level of education. Normally BCA is a 3 Year programme and the same applies to MCA as well. However, students opting for BCA-MCA pursue MCA and save one valuable year as the tenure for the programme is 5 Years.* The intent of the programme is to construct strong basic conceptions and then hone their understanding in a specific domain and implementation of the same. Dear Shantanu, It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is a international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin done BCA and MCA from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students not only in MCA but also in other courses.
