t doesnot depend on branch it depends on college from which u r doing ur engineering

Let me add to Swati's reply. Beside college and stream, it will also depend on your results, skills, technical and maagerial personality, indusry requirements etc. Candidates who graduate from IIT or IIM with less scores don't expect good jobs.
