I want to apply for graduate admission but have a degree in an unrelated field. Can I still apply?

Most of the programs at the university have specific admission requirements, but most do accept a related honours degree or certification in case a student does not possess the specific requirement set for a degree. But it should be noted that the competition is high as the other applicants may be those who might be holding that specifically required degree.
