The institute considers scores of the aspirants in national-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, etc. for admission. Once selected, candidates have to further pass the personal interview round for final selection. The institute also considers academic performance, Work Experience and Extra-curricular of the aspirants for admission in the PGDM programme.

CMAT is one of the accepting exams for admission to PGDM. In 2024, the overall CMAT cutoff was 85. This was same in 2023 as well. However, it is not compulsory to have a CMAT score for admission. Aspirants with a valid score in CAT, MAT, ATMA, etc. can also get admission in the PGDM programme.

Candidates should have completed a minimum of three-years bachelor's degree awarded by any of the universites recognised by UGC or AIU in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent to apply for Global MBA programme at NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research.
