i want to ask that can diploma in Obstetrics and gynaecology from other state in india practice in another state of india ?
one person after completing M.B.B.S join an diploma course in Obstetrics and gynaecology in chennai. and suppose he/she wants to practice as gynaecologist D.G.O in gujarat ? is it allowed by MCI or not. ?

Dear Mansuri, your degree must be registered with the State Medical Council where you wish to practice then won't be any problem if you have done the Diploma from any other state. Wish you all the best.

Hi Mansuri, Gynecology, also known as Obstetrics, is a branch of medical science that essentially deals with the diagnosis and treatments of female reproductive system.
The first degree that you need to have in order to specialize in gynecology is MBBS. After earning this degree, joining MD in the field of gynecology is the next stride. After MD in gynecology, you can register yourself with some medical association or join a Nursing Home or any of the state owned hospitals.
