i want to ask that can diploma in Obstetrics and gynaecology from other state in india practice in another state of india ?

Dear Mansuri, your degree must be registered with the State Medical Council where you wish to practice then won't be any problem if you have done the Diploma from any other state. Wish you all the best.

Hi Mansuri, Gynecology, also known as Obstetrics, is a branch of medical science that essentially deals with the diagnosis and treatments of female reproductive system. The first degree that you need to have in order to specialize in gynecology is MBBS. After earning this degree, joining MD in the field of gynecology is the next stride. After MD in gynecology, you can register yourself with some medical association or join a Nursing Home or any of the state owned hospitals. You can work as specialist in various fields like Gynecology oncology, Critical care medicine, Reproductive endocrinology or maternal-fetal medicine. As per the present scenario of medical requirement, facilities in India, there is lot of scope for gynecologists. You can join either a government or a private hospital as a junior or assistant gynecologist.
