I want to be a cosmetic chemist. What degree should I pursue for my UG other than pure chemistry?

<p>Either you want to be a pure chemistry or want to be a cosmetic chemist, you have options to pursue and to choose, you may study in B.Sc. Cosmetic Formulation/Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical engineering, Biochemistry or even Biology/Microbiology. It is preferable to have a B.Sc in Cosmetic formulation, which has a direct course on product development, quality control and regulations. The other degrees offer a good base Science so you can later become a specialist with a Master in Cosmetic Science or by means of employment in the industry. Make sure that the programme that you take specializes in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and in many cases biology to have a complete picture.</p>
