Basically in India, artificial intelligence made its presence in IT sector. So, you have two ways. First, you can go for IT-Engineering, so you can easily enter in AI field. Or after completing ME, you need to go out of India, majorly in US /UK, you can learn AI in the Mechanical field. -

It has already made its presence in IT sector and is likely that it will spread its tentacles in almost all spheres of life. I would advise you to think of doing your engineering in mechatronics.
