Hi dear,
If you really know writing and the skills of storytelling then, there is no need to have a degree in mass communication. Even now there are a number of stringers who are working for news channels and newspapers but they don't have any degree. That doesn't mean they are not reporters. They

Absolutely no, there is no requirement of any degree in Journalism if you want to get into this field. If you look at the today's big personalities of Media field then you would find that not everyone has a media background. So basically all you need is a good knowledge about the current scenario of

Yes, it is necessary to have a degree in mass communication to understand the nitty gritties. Freelance or full time, media houses look for candidates who atleast have a Bachelors or a Diploma in mass communication or journalism.
