Absolutely no, there is no requirement of any degree in Journalism if you want to get into this field. Yes, it is necessary to have a degree in mass communication to understand the nitty gritties. Freelance or full time, media houses look for candidates who atleast have a Bachelors or a Diploma in mass communication or journalism.
