I want to be a reporter in a news channel. What should i opt as i am working also? what course shld i pursue? Plz suggest.

I am recently working with ABEC as a BDM. Its a media company but its into events. I am working under lifestyle segment. I want to be a news reporter or correspondent in a news channel. I want to go for 6months or one year diploma in journalism part time so that i can continue my job. Suggest.
