    There are no fixed best courses for software development (SD), technology keeps on changing with time, every day a new & better tool/Integrated development environment (I.D.E. )/language is replacing an existing best. So, if you are a college fresher or will going to be the one then all you can do is get a hold of programming basics at this point of time. Learn c/c+ in-depth and then move to college level Java. And by the time you are in the third year of your UG course of B.Tech in CSE talk to someone or inspect the market what all languages are best as of now and then you can get into those.
