I want to be a veterinary doctor what are the terms and condition for admission, or should i have to cross CPMT for this?

I m in 12th and i want to be a veterinary doctor after this my cpg in class 10th was 8. what will be the terms and condition for getting an admission in a good college and do i have to crack CPMT for getting admission? please reply soon as your answers will help me in taking next steps.
