I want to be advertisement director and make my career in ad industry. which course o which college should i have to opt???

Hi Arun, I guess by Advertising Director you mean Creative Director (Person who is usually responsible for making AD films). In order to become an AD maker you should opt for Advertising. Advertising field requires a lot of creativity and innovation. In advertising one has to do a lot of research in order to study the demand of the product in the market, then you need to design the advertisement according to the target consumers depending upon the age group, gender etc. Thus making the advertisement field more interesting and challenging. Hi, So basically, there is no such thing as an advertising director. Now, I can think of only two job profiles that you could mean (if I am wrong, please tell me what exactly do you mean). 1. Ad film maker (Director) - These guys make the commercial that you see on TV. The ads are made by a production house. There are various departments in that as well, like production, technical, creative. So, if you wanna be a director, you need to get into the creative/direction department. 2. Creative department head (Creative Director) - These guys are responsible for the idea which is behind the ad. It's a long, taxing process. So, basically the idea is originated by the creative team under the guidance of the Creative Director. Any more doubts? Reply.

If you are studing in 12th. then after 12th you can join the course BMM (Bacholer of Mass Media). But if you are a graduate the you can go for MBA in advertising or Marketing.
