You do get to study subjects that will help you with basic knowledge of Forests, which is asked in IFS exam. Apart from that some of our faculties themselves are from IFS cadre and can guide you in the right direction. Being a management course this will help you in dealing with day-to-day situations if you do get selected in IFS. These are the only indirect benefit you get from IIFM in your quest to be an IFS. No direct benefit in terms of quota or visibility.
