I want to become a chief engineer. What is the process of doing this?

I had completed 3-year diploma in interior design in Government Polytechnic and now, continuing B.Arch in Government College of Architecture.

You can be a chief engineer, but for chief engineer you have to crack GATE after your B.Arch.
