B.Ed is a mandatory educational qualification requirement for seeking job of TGT and PGT teacher. In order to teach in college you may have to do Post graduate degree in your subject and clear NET.

B.Ed is not a qualification for a College Teacher. On the other hand, Ph.D. has become the most desirable qualification. In PG, a first class has become a qualification.
