First, your connection with cricket is very much necessary. Many of those, who are cricket presenters have earned reputation in this Sport. A few of them were former players. So, check your profile, before aspiring for the role.
Even, anchors are also MBA generally and they get selected on the basis of their potential in presentation. They have their respective connection with the field.
I would suggest that you should cultivate your personality traits, first. Improve your proficiency of language. Improve your looks and try for some connections, with the field. You will succeed, in due course of time.
  • Choose your UG related to journalism or digital media. Meanwhile, learn more about cricket and know the Statistics which improves your analytical skills.

    Dear Aakash,
Firstly you should have interest and knowledge of the particular cricket and than you have good communication skills in terms of presentation, body language and good speaker.
Now if you want to want to enter into media industry than choose Bachelor of mass communication field bcz that will give right tools and knowledge about the media industry. In the programme you can choose the field or projects related to particular cricket and take part into different seminar or fest as a Anchor that will give you experience and confidence to go further into the same.
    All the best.
