I want to become a malayalam news reporter?how it be possible?

I am a degree holder in b.com with 60% and i am a good reader in malayalam ,to become a news reporter what will i study?can you suggest some institutions and courses available in kochi

    Rahiyanath, There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. you can be a script writer who would stop at nothing

    These days, there is a definite preference for good movement and your local connections. For a TV job, they may go in for fluency. For Malayalam, it is a bit difficult because the literacy levels are high in the State and there are more expectations. First, master the language and contemporary Malayalam literature.

    A course in Journalism will be of immense help. News papers such as Malayala Manorama offer PG Diploma in Journalism. The course is organised in three trimesters, each of 12 weeks duration. In addition, students will serve a three-week internship after the third trimester and undertake at least two field trips during the course. Applicants to the course must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Students who have appeared in their final examination may also apply.
