I want to become a scientist or an astronomer. What should I do? Which are the best colleges in India for the same?

Try for IIST or IISC, Bangalore, because by doing Bachelor's degree from here, you can directly get to ISRO or DRDO like big government organization. So, go for JEE Main and try to get the rank below 300, if you belong to general category for aeronautical engineering or if you are unable to achieve,

There aren't any top institutes, however, you can check for DU and BITS. There are only a few colleges offering B.Sc in astrophysics.
