I want to become an animator and,can i complete my 10+2 in NIOS? which stream should i choose?

    Hi Shekhar,
    To become an animator, the minimum education qualification is plus two or equivalent from a recognized board (any stream). Good drawing and sketching skills along with strong imagination and visualization are added skills required.

    sure you can do 10+2 from NIOS. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them. You can also buy good sketch books from the market for sketching including shading, shadows, and human figures. However, soon you may have to upgrade to more serious books like "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richards William. You could also study composition by reading "Composing Pictures" by Don Graham.
