    Hi Mohith!
n order to become an Income tax officer you need to apply for the Indian Revenue Services exam which is also known as IRS. The other way is to give a Staff Selection Commission Exam. To be eligible for the exam you should have completed a Graduation Degree from any stream from a recognised university. The age should be between 18 years to 27 years. 3 years age relaxation for the OBC and 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST Candidate. The notification of the exam is issued every year in the month of April. You can find the notification in the Rozgar Samachar / Employment Newspaper, Gazette of India and other leading newspapers
