I want to become an IPS officer. Which subjects should I opt with English Honours? Is history important?

    Hello Tejbeer,
    It's very nice to read about setting aims in life so early. Congratulations for this. For becoming IPS, one needs to clear civil service exam. For this eligibility is graduation in any subject. Hence I would advise you to choose a subject that you like most. This will help you in preparing for civil service exam later. Presently work hard and study to learn the subject and not to obtain higher marks.
