I want to cancel ma admition ,but I heard that if I cancelled the admition I will have to pay fees of remaining years so pls guide me.

Pls tell me is it so , if I left engineering after 1st year , I have to pay the fees of remaining years.pls tell me and where can I get detailed info regardin admition cancellation process.
