i want to change my branch from comp ssci to env sci is it good as env sci is not granted branch in my clg?

i m doing b tech in comp sci but i want to change my branch cz i heard that there is no scope for comp sci i think i should take env sci but the problem is that it is not granted branch in my clg i my clg is not that repuated also what should i do? please guide me
