Once academic preferences for AEEE counselling are submitted, they are final until the website's designated day and the trial allotment is released. Remember that an academic preference cannot be changed once it has been assigned. An applicant may submit a maximum of 42 Academic Preferences. Each campus offers both BTech disciplines and a combination of campus offerings under Academic Preference.

After academic preferences' are submitted for AEEE counseling, they cannot be changed until the trial allotment is published and until the date specified on the website. Keep in mind that once an academic preference has been assigned, it cannot be modified in any way. A candidate may submit up to 42 Academic Preferences in total. The AEEE 2026 slot booking for the phase 2 exams will start a week before the exam in April or May 2026. Only those candidates who book the AEEE exam slots are issued the AEEE admit card to attend the exam.

AEEE slot booking window opens for a limited period and is done in real-time and on a first-come first-served basis.
