I want to complete a Graduation degree in History through Distance mode from MGU,Meghalaya.Is it valid if I will do it from West Bengal?

I want to do the degree from my state West Bengal. MGU,Meghalaya is not a member of Association of Indian Universities. So, it's degree is valid or not?
