Hi Vinay, Nice to know your interest in the stream of animation and to be true to you about your query all the institutes in animatioon teaches you almost the same softwares For Example - Photoshop, Corel Draw , 3d Max , Maya etc, the better would be to visit the center and then meet the faculties of the center and analyse your skills then probably you would be able to decide about it. If you're creative, you can consider going for Multimedia and Animation. However, you must first check if you're suited for Animation. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation. There is no such authentic list of institutes that i can give you. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself. Do always look at the library of the institute as that would give you an insight into their vision. Even if you have to travel to timbuctoo or chandigarh for that matter, it is important for your life, so do it. Wish you the best for your career. Hello Vinay, Multimedia and Animation is considered as very good career option for creative people and is a shear skill development field. There is no authentic list of institutes or colleges for it. Do your own analysis by visiting top few institutes of national repute. You may search their details by specifying your city in Shiksha or various yellow pages. While choosing any institute ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's.
