    The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B. Ed course. Candidates who wish to take up distance B. Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education.

    Tamil Nadu Open University offers both degree and Diploma in teaching. If you can fulfill the criterion then you can apply for the same. You are advised to go through the website of the university.

    Go for B.Ed as it will lead you to many opportunities. After completing it, you can join some good school and start earning well.
    The Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
    OR
    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. or B.E. with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level)
    5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable.

    Hi,
    The Prospectus-cum-Application form can be downloaded from the website www.tnou.ac.in.
    The Selection of candidates will be on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying UG / PG Degree Examination. Tamil Nadu Open University B.Ed. admission are made strictly only on the basis of merit.
