I want to do B.Ed or Diploma in English teaching (correspondence). What should I do?

Take part in BEd counseling and get a good college, then pursue the course.

One could pursue B.ed and M.Ed only full time and not distance, if someone is more passionate about moving into the academics field. Tamil Nadu Open University offers both degree and Diploma in teaching. If you can fulfill the criterion then you can apply for the same. You are advised to go through the website of the university.

Go for B.Ed as it will lead you to many opportunities. After completing it, you can join some good school and start earning well. The Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent OR Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. or B.E. with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level) 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable.
