I want to do B.Tech biotechnology. So is it compulsory to have maths in main subjects because I am 12th pass with PCB?
Asked about VIT Vellore - B.Tech. in Biotechnology

Hi,
1. Both at VIT and LPU, Maths is not compulsory in eligibility. Rather, you can be eligible with PCB subjects too.
2. At LPU, Maths is not a subject in the 4 years of curriculum too, apart from probability and statistics in semester 3.
So, The choice is yours, on one hand LPU is now ranked among top 100 by NIRF and top 2 band A by ATAL rankings by MHRD and on other hand VIT has a long standing heritage.
Also fee structure of LPU is reasonable which gets even sweeter with heavy scholarships upto 35% of progrm fee.
