Hello Dhruva,
Why do you want to go abroad for B.Tech? Study in India. There are many good colleges for B.Tech and if you are not getting any good college then you may drop this year for preparation and prepare well so that you can get good college for B.Tech and after this, you may go abroad for a

So, you can drop this year and prepare well so that you can crack the Advanced exam.
There are many other good colleges apart from IIT and NIT such as Jadavpur University, WB, BITS-Pilani, MIT-Pune, VIT-Vellore.
