Yes, B.Tech in biotechnology has maths as a subject so you need to study maths in order to complete your B.Tech biotechnology.

B.Tech biotechnology has 4 maths papers in the first two years as all regular engineering courses have. If you are good in basic mathematics of 11 and 12th you can go with.
