I want to do B.Tech. Is it a good choice? Will it affect my job prospects?

Will I face any difficulty during campus recruitment due to an year gap and English graduate degree? I've completed my 12th with science & graduated in 2015 in English literature.

Numerous colleges offer this course but while choosing the best for you, you need to look at different aspects like faculty, infrastructure and most importantly placement cells. Here are a few options for you :
    1. IIT's
    2. Thapar University, Patiala
    3. UTM, Shillong
    4. DTU, Delhi
    5. MAIT, Delhi

If you have completed your 12th from science background, then you are eligible for doing B.Tech. India has a lot of B.Tech graduates. It depends on you which kind of specialisation you opt for in B.Tech. B.Tech in computer science engineering sector is booming these days, so you can get yourself enrolled in it.

You put up the same effort in B.Tech as you did in English literature. You will have a very good chance of excelling in career. If join B.Tech, you will have to make a beginning once again and it is totally a new area.
