I want to do BCA. Am I eligible for it? If yes, will I get admission in the 1st-year or in the 2nd-year?
I've completed a Diploma in electronics and communication full-time (3-years) from State Board of Technical Education, Telangana.

6 years agoYes, you are eligible. If you have completed your class 12th or schooling with minimum aggregate of 50% marks. If you are searching to get admission in any private BCA college, then you should have this minimum aggregate. You will get admission in 1st year, and then you'll study for three years because BCA is a three year complete graduation course. -
You are eligible for BCA, but the lateral entry in the second year is not possible, instead of BCA, you can get admission in B.Tech as a lateral entrant. In B.Tech, you will get admission in the 2nd year. Though, the time duration of the same is 4 years, through lateral entry, you can complete it in 3 years, but you have to take an entrance exam for the admission.
