Part time degree is ok but AIME is really a tuf job to get just pass marks also, and after leaving the studies it is not easy to re-start the same .

Diploma holders are eligible for lateral entry as well as part time admissions, yourself being experienced and if do not want to take vacation from your firm, it is advisable you do a part time course or AMIE/AMIETE/AMIME/AMICE etc.
