I want to do Btech in Mechanical engineering(chem.) in VIT.If seats are unavailable,is it advisable for opting Civil engineering, in VIT.
I did my schooling upto class10 in a CBSE school and secured 10 points as CGPA. Later i did intermediate,MPC group (1st year and 2nd year) in AndhraPradesh state board and secured 90.7%.I have appeared for JEE-MAINS 2013,but was not selected for JEE ADVANCED.(which was my life ambition).

Of couse, b.e civil engineering is also a good choice . And there are more demands for civil engineering all over the world. But academic excellence is very important.
