    Hi,
UPSC civil services exam is your gateway to a career in the distinguished Civil Services of India. If you clear this exam, you stand the chance to become an IAS/IPS/IFS officer. This exam is held in three rounds which include the prelims, the Mains and the board interview. You must hold a Bachelor's degree in any stream from any recognised university. So, having a Master's degree is not important to apply for UPSC exam. Although, if you are unsure about clearing the exam and looking for a backup option, I would suggest that you opt for a Master's degree.
