Hi Tejaswi, For Distance MBA you do not require to appear for CAT Examination. There are Several Institutes providing Distance MBA which you can opt for such as: IGNOU, Annamalai University, SCDL, AMITY, IMT etc. Few of the things which you should keep in mind while choosing a distance programme are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and get few of the alumnae contacts as well. This will give you a real picture about the institute. However, as you are still at the beginning of your career advisable would be that you should opt for a full time programme through decent University such as IIMs, MDI, FMS, S.P.Jain, IMT etc. or else go for a part time programme rather than going for distance education.
