Hi Sanjeev, Both IAS & IPS are appointed through the Civil Services Examination conducted bu UPSC in two stages, first CSAT in May/June and then the Main Exam in Nov/Dec. every year. Those who qualify have to appear in Personality Test in March next year and the final results are announced by May. T
