I want to do M.des from NIFT . is 2 months training in design before start of course compulsory ?

I m a b.com graduate with no previous experience in design field. is the 2 month training compulsory before enrolling for M.des at NIFT. if yes then where can i do such training in delhi. kindly help ASAP
