In taking M.Sc physics you should have studied physics for 3 full years in graduation then you can seek admission in M.Sc physics. Chemistry is not a necessary subject it is counted as an ancillary subject in B.Sc. So don't worry you will get M.Sc physics if you have B.Sc physics degree you can apply.
All the best. -
The eligibility for B.Sc with physics as Major/honors subject with a minimum of 50% marks (Chemistry and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects). Candidates from universities/institutes which do not offer major/honors must have at least 55% marks in physics as well as in aggregate with physics, chemistry and mathematics as subject combination.
Admission Procedure:-
Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE). Notification for Admission is usually issued in February.
