Yes, you can take admission without GATE. But for IIT, IIIT, and NITS GATE is Compulsory.

Hello Nitu Singh, yes it is possible to get admission for a course in M.Tech without giving GATE examination. But then majority of the institutions which admit students for post graduation in engineering without GATE have their own entrance exam. So the purpose of not appearing for GATE gets defeate
