I want to do M.Tech in electrical engineering without GATE in 2020. Any possibility.

    Yes, you can take admission without GATE. But for IIT, IIIT, and NITS GATE is Compulsory.

    Hello Nitu Singh, yes it is possible to get admission for a course in M.Tech without giving GATE examination. But then majority of the institutions which admit students for post graduation in engineering without GATE have their own entrance exam. So the purpose of not appearing for GATE gets defeated. However it's up to you, whether you want to appear for GATE and become eligible for admission in a wide array of institutes or appear for the entrance exam in the institute where you want to study and which admit students without this examination.
