Universities in UK and US offers MS degree in various fields like:
Electrical engineering.
Mechanical engineering and more fields.
Where as universities in India offers M.tech degree in the above stated fields.
To pursue both the degrees, you need to have relevant undergraduate degree.

Both the degrees give same kind if technical knowledge or specialization. In india they prefer M. Tech over MS. But if u are planning to settle abroad u can opt for MS.
one has to clear GRE/TOEFL for getting admission in MS in foreign countries
