I want to do MBA, but I did not give any CAT or MAT exam. Can I get admission in LPU?

Hello, You need to worry, if you haven't written CAT exam, you can still apply for MBA at LPU. The Eligibility for MBA is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT or NMAT and Interview. Due to COVID-19, LPUNEST-Test is also exempted and you just need to appear and qualify LPUNEST-interview. I had gone through the same phase, as I was just like you and haven't appeared for CAT I applied for LPU NEST and then got admission in LPU. Yes, you can get admission. Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is a bit relaxed and the admissions are being done online. The eligibility criteria is 55% in Graduation + Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). LPU offers different types of scholarships on the basis of marks in either of the last two qualifications, LPU NEST Sports, Defence, COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship, and many more. If you are eligible for more than one scholarship, only one scholarship you will get is the maximum one. The best thing is if you get the scholarship, the tuition fees after getting a scholarship will be applicable every semester except for a few types of scholarships.

Hello, Yes, definitely, as this year LPU's eligibility criteria exempts the requirement of an entrance exam or any other national level test. To apply for admission in MBA 2020, candidate should have passed with 55 percentages of marks in graduation and has to qualify an interview conducted by LPU. For the interview, the candidate can appear through an online video mode. There is an option if candidate wishes to avail scholarship than candidate can apply for LPU NEST also. Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboration of the concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness, and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut-off score only you will be considered as qualified or not. Hence, whatever is the specialisation that you are wishing to opt for the faculty of the core domain will be checking you on that and keeping in mind the above competencies stated. And Yes, you will be checked about the General Awareness so you need to keep yourself up to date. You will be asked questions related to your graduation degree and what made you go for MBA as well.
