I WANT TO DO MBA FINANCE, PRESENTLY WORKING IN A NATIONALISED BANK, WHAT TO DO.

Hi, start preparing for MBA exams. Without appearing for MBA entrance, you may not be able to take admission in any of the recognised MBA institutes (if you want to do a regular full time MBA). Else look for MBA Finance through correspondance mode from the universities offering distance learning programs.

Hi, Its good to know that you are interested in pursuing MBA, its a holistic course which deals with management aspects, the major specialization in MBA are: Finance. Marketing. Human resources. Operations management. To pursue MBA from India, you need to have: Good academic record, preferably 50% plus in graduation. Relevant undergraduate degree form recognized university. Plus you need to appear in various management entrance tests like: CAT, MAT,XAT etc. MBA finance is a good course to pursue, as it offers good career prospects and growth opportunities. Maximum number of MBA aspirants specialise in finance these days and this trend is because of the numerous possibilities that an MBA-Finance offers. You can look out for exciting careers in banks, financial consultancies and financial institutions. You can get involved in consumer and investment banking, institutional finance, merchant banking, corporate finance and international finance. A good experience in this field can also lead you to serve on government committees and contribute significantly to policy-making issues. You can also end up providing consultancy services to corporate and government organizations. The pay mainly depends on the kind of business school you graduate from.Tier-1 colleges like the IIMs see students get placed with offers hovering around Rs 10-15 lakh an year. Those who work as financial analysts start off with a minimum package of Rs 4 lakh an year. Credit analysts start at Rs 5-6 lakh per annum and earn as much as Rs 20-30 lakh per annum once they reach senior level positions.
