I want to do MBA in HR and finance. Will it be a good option for my career? Can you please tell this?

Dear Gopi, MBA is a professional programme, you must evaluate he colleges/university on following parameters before taking a plunge:
Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since management is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme which is stuck in obsolete theories and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. It depends on your interest. You can't go wrong with either of the choices. HR is an evergreen field and operations management has started coming up in a big way now. In terms of job opportunities, you may still find more in HR.

5 years agoAn option is only good if that suits you and it can only suit you if you have interest in that particular domain so that you explore and understand it better. Apart from it, yes, taking finance as major in which you would pursue your career can be easily handled with HR as minor. Workload management would be best. If you ask for suggestion, I would suggest going for finance+marketing as this is the demand of future as sales is everywhere. -
