Hi Harshal, MBA IT: Eligibility Students must have a Bachelors degree in any stream for admission in MBA Information Technology course at top B Schools. They should have cleared any one entrance test accepted by various colleges and should also have minimum of 45% to 55% in their Bachelors for admission in the same. MBA IT: Admission Process Admission in MBA IT is done via two modes- either through an entrance exam or direct admission which is based on merit basis or management quota basis. The top schools of India mostly use some entrance tests score to provide admission. Major Entrance tests for MBA in IT Entrance Test B Schools that Accept Score CAT Iims, Most of the top league b schools MAT Institutes under AIMA XAT XLRI and other associated B schools CMAT B schools approved by AICTE SNAP Symbiosis International University & its associates NMAT NMIMS all campuses Selection Process for MBA in IT B schools that accept some entrance test score; have somewhat common selection process which includes performance in test, academic performance, GD/PI/What, and work experience. Following is general weightage given to these criteria by mostly institutes- Criterion Weightage Entrance Test 60-70% GD/PI/What 5-10% Academic Performance 10-15% Work Experience 5-10% Above mentioned criteria is generalized and it may differ from college to college.
